Graduates: If you have graduated from college or another degree program last fall or this spring, or know someone who has, please phone the church office.
Men's Softball Team: May 16 at 6:00 on Field 6

Mission Trip to El Paso, Texas, May 31-June 6: We will be flying in to and working in El Paso, TX; where we will be constructing a home for a homeless family and VBS. The estimated per person cost is projected to be $902.00!

Baby Shower: Will be May 18^th at 2:00 p.m. for Kim & Nate Adams' baby boy, Matthew, & Rebekah & Josh Hill's baby girl, Abigail. Both families are registered at Target and Babies R Us.

VBS Workers: If you are interested in helping with VBS, June 8 - 11, please take a moment to fill out a form in the Gathering Area.
Save Those Glass Baby Food Jars: VBS is in need of jars of all sizes for a craft. There is a collection box in the Gathering Area.
Can You Help? The newly formed Deacon Food Committee has a new process by which to provide food for our folks who have a need; i.e., a new baby, after an extended hospital stay, or death in our church family. We are asking for volunteers to cook and volunteers to deliver the meals on an as needed basis. Our primary resource and point of contact will be the deacon assigned in each Sunday School class. We will also rely on volunteers from our church body. If you are willing to provide food, please e-mail me at carmackbb@aol.com or call me at 430-3566. World Changers: Will be here Sunday, June 22. We will also need to provide their lunch at the job site June 23-27. Sign-up sheets will be in your Sunday School classes.
College and High School Senior Bible Study: Starting Wednesday, May 28, we'll have a summer Bible Study for college students and high school seniors from 7:30-9:00 p.m. We'll be meeting in different homes so be on the lookout for the schedule. And, as always, there will be food.

Youth Announcements as of May 14th, 2008

Praise Team: The youth Praise Team will be taking a break and will meet Wed., June 4, to prepare for VBS.
Passport Youth Camp: The date for this summer's camp is June 22-27, 2008 and we will be going to New Orleans. The camp will be on the campus of Dillard University and the mission projects will include Katrina cleanup. Balances are due Sunday, June 1.
Youth T-shirts: Are in!
Graduate Breakfast and Recognition: For high school grads, their families, and all the youth will be Sunday, May 18. Graduates will be recognized in both services and the breakfast will be in the Fellowship Hall during Sunday School. The Granade and Woodard Sunday School classes will meet in B 218 and B219.

Youth Movie Night: Join us in the youth room on Sunday, June 1, from 6-8:30 p.m. for popcorn, sodas and a movie. FREE!!! (6^th graders are invited)
Youth Six Flags Trip: Tuesday, June 17 - meet the bus here at Trinity at 6:00 a.m. and return about midnight. Cost is $60.00 and is due by Sunday, June 8. You will also need money for meals.

6^th graders: Those who have completed the 6^th grade, and will be promoting into the youth group in August, are invited to some of the youth events this summer. The first one is coming up soon: Sun, June 1 Movie Night (youth room) 6-8:30 p.m. On Promotion Sunday, August 3, they will officially begin their time in the youth group!

Children's Announcements as of May 14th, 2008

PassportKids! Camp: The children will be going to camp July 12-15, 2008 in Crossville, TN. Balances are due Sunday, June 1.

Vacation Bible School: June 8-11 from 6:00-8:15 p.m. for kids who have completed PreK through the 6^th Grade. Join us for Beach Party: Surfin' through the Scriptures as we study the "be-attitudes." Please plan to make this exciting week a part of your Summer! Registration forms are in the Gathering Area.

Summer Weds. Night Schedule: We are gearing up for a great summer! Be on the lookout for the calendar of events for kids. We are also looking for adult helpers for these events; sign up on the bulletin board in the fellowship hall to be a part of all the fun!
Where do you fit in?: Be a V.I.P. Volunteer In Preschool! Please fill out and return a V.I.P. Form if you are interested in serving in the Preschool Department.
RA/GA Camp: If your son or daughter is interested in attending either GA camp or any of the RA camp options please have their form turned in by Wednesday night, May 14. If you have any questions please see either: Steve or Lisa Horn, Amy Hatchett, or Glenn Bowers.
6^th Pizza Party and Parents Meeting: The Youth Reps and Big Brothers/Sisters are
hosting a Pizza Party for the 6^th graders on Sunday, June 1, right after late worship in the youth room. Parents are invited to meet with Teresa in B206 to talk about the youth ministry and plans for the 6^th graders this summer. Pizza is for everyone and childcare is provided for siblings.
RA/GA Recognition: Wednesday night at 6:00 in the sanctuary.
