Faith Conversations Class
Offered once in the Spring and once in the Fall, this class is designed for a small group of students, grades 4-6, who have been thinking about making a personal decision to follow Christ or who have recently made a decision to do so. This class provide learning experiences about the basics of the Christian faith. We do ask that families make a commitment that children can be a part of all six sessions.

Ministry to Children

Sunday Mornings

Sunday School

On Sunday mornings, we offer age-graded classes at 9:30. We make Sunday School a meaningful time of Bible lessons and activities, as well as a great time of fun and relationship building! We use the Rock Solid curriculum by Cokesbury Publishing. (For more info, go to www.iamrocksolid.com).  For classroom locations, please click here.

Sunday Nights

Choir (September through April)

Music from the lips of children is an exquisite expression of praise to our great God of love. Children’s Choirs meet on Sunday nights. The Carol Choir (B100) is for Kindergarten and 1st Grade, the Music Makers (B203) are 2nd and 3rd Graders, and 4th-6th graders are invited to participate in the Young Musicians choir (Choir Room). For more information, email Gayle Lavish, Music Assistant for Children’s Choirs by clicking here.

Wednesday Nights

The 5:30

After dinner on Wednesday nights, childcare begins at 5:30. For our grade school children, we are using this time before RA’s and GA’s to sharpen our Bible skills! During that time kids play games and do activities that encourage their learning. Each child is challenged to learn the Verse of the Week. All of the verses and activities are chosen to prepare the students for the learning that will happen in Sunday School the following week.

RA’s and GA’s  (August-May

RA’s (for the boys) and GA’s (for the girls) are experiences designed to help children learn about God’s mission in the world. Through games, stories, and fellowship, these classes will guide our children to understand our part in God’s work.    For more information, see  Kim Grissom, Director of GAs.

Childcare

When you are in classes or meetings on Sunday or Wednesday nights, we provide a trained staff of teachers to care for your child.  We are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for children while at church.
